The Indian Standard Time (IST) is maintained by Atomic Clock at NPL (National Physical Laboratory), New Delhi. The NPL transmits IST time data of current time on telephone line. Our Teleclock based on NPL’s Know- gets synchronized to the IST automatically daily at pre-determined time. The Teleclock remains connected to any direct telephone line without disturbing its normal usage. At preset time, the Teleclock switches ON its Modem, dials the IST number, updates its RTC with current time data and switches OFF the Modem.
The BCT series of Teleclock Provides information like LOCKED and UNLOCK status on last dial, Dialing to NPL line #, CONNECTED or FAILED etc. |
