The BC-SC series Satellite Clocks receive signal from 24 Global Positioning System Satellites with onboard Atomic Clocks, circling the Earth twice daily at 19300 Km. Their orbital arrangement is such that at any point of time, anywhere on Earth, there are at least 4 Satellites visible in the sky. The Satellite Clock locates 4 or more Satellites, receives their Atomic Clocks current time data and sets its RTC to that time value.The Computing circuits calculates the received data relative to its location on the earth to display local Standard Time like IST in India.
